Crisis del dólar en Argentina: Sus diversos tipos de cambio y la incapacidad para unificarlos

Una de las monedas emergentes que más se ha depreciado en los últimos meses es el peso argentino. En poco más de un mes el país ha tenido tres ministros a cargo de la cartera de Economía, lo que no ha ayudado a calmar al mercado. Además, existen ahí varios tipos de cambio: el oficial, el del mercado informal, el de turistas y el llamado "contado con liquidación", más algunos otros.

Respecto de lo que impide a Argentina tener un tipo de cambio unificado, el economista jefe de Altafid, Francisco J. Simian, en declaraciones al portal de noticias Emol, sostuvo que "unificar el dólar en Argentina significaría devaluar de manera muy significativa. Algo que el Gobierno de ese país se ha resistido a hacer."

Agregó que "hoy la brecha cambiaria entre el dólar oficial y el informal supera el 100%. Además, en términos generales, Argentina tiene hoy un problema de reservas, que están en niveles muy bajos para poder sostener el tipo de cambio oficial".
